Here is a recipe to start off your weekend. It's Campbell's Soup's Glorified Pork Chops. Just add some rice or potatoes as a side and broccoli or beans for your veggies and you have a complete meal. If you are like my stepdad, you will also need to add bread to round it all out.
Glorified Pork Chops 1 Tbsp vegetable oil 6 pork chops, each cut 1/2" thick (about 1 1/2 lb.) 1 medium onion, sliced 1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup 1/4 c. water 1/4 t. pepper 1/2 t. garlic powder 1. In skillet over medium heat, in hot oil, cook chops 1/2 at a time with onion 10 min. or until browned on both sides. Spoon off fat. 2. Stir in soup, water, pepper. and garlic powder. Reduce heat to low. Cover; simmer 10 min. or until chops are fork-tender, stirring occasionally. 6 servings Prep time: 3 min Cook time: 30 min. Enjoy!
