Empty the Garbage Before Dad Flips!

We all laughed when our music teacher wrote that on the board. Was Mr. McGrew trying to get the attention of a bunch of middle schoolers? Was he giving us advice on how to defuse our dads? Possibly and no, respectively.

He was imparting musical knowledge into our growing brains. This was the acronym he used so our class would remember the musical chord which so happens to be E, G, B, D, F. All these years later I still know the musical chord. Well done Mr. McGrew, mission accomplished.
