Giving Tuesday!

After all the holiday weekend shopping, today is known as Giving Tuesday . Although we love to get a good deal we also love the joy of giving!

In honor of Giving Tuesday we have selected a local non-profit to bless and you can be in on it too. The Orlando Union Rescue Mission has a Family Home where they provide temporary "hand up" housing for homeless families.

We are asking people and companies to purchase an angel book so that the children in the Rescue Home can be comforted and filled with hope because they have their own angel watching over them.

Some generous people have come forward to get the ball rolling and we only need 24 more angel book purchases to give every child their own angel and book set.

Would you be one of the 24? If so, go to the "Angel Store" tab, pick a book, purchase it, and leave a comment "OURM" or "for the kids." That way we know it is part of Giving Tuesday.

We will deliver the books with a personal note when we go there for Story Time and angel crafts. Your gift will bring joy to little hearts who have endured hardship.
