Around here we call the middle day of the week “Wingsday”. It has a special angelic ring to it that we like.
Something else we like around here are tips that make sense and make life less messy. This tip has made our homes more organized. Do you know how chalk sticks just seem to multiply when you have kids? We seem to have them coming out of our ears. I asked our neighbor, who has a 4-year-old, if she wanted more chalk sticks and she echoed my multiplication sentiment and gave a polite, “We're good.” How do you keep all those chalk sticks in one organized neat space without making a mess? We have a solution for you that you probably have around your house. An empty Lysol or Clorox cleaning wipes container. When Emerald Nuts came in the green plastic container those worked really well too. We put all the chalk in the empty containers. Then when the kids want to get them out, they open the lid and either pour out or pick out what color they want. I wrote in black sharpie on the outside of the container what the contents were, “chalk,” so there would be no confusion in the house. Clarity brings calm. Would you agree? We hope this Wingsday tip has given you a good solution to your chalk multiplication mess. Do you have another idea for chalk?
