Making It Matter Monday

Spread the word about making the world a healthier place! Health issues in some way or shape effect everyone and finding cures is a worthy cause. Especially if it can be affordable.

One way we have played a part in finding cures was donating my child's cord blood after birth. It didn't cost me a penny. It did cost me a little bit of time looking up an organization that accepts donated cord blood but after that they took care of the rest.

Cord blood is rich in minerals and stem cells. It is used to help heal and repair tissues, organs, and diseases. Research is constantly being done to procure what else this mega-rich blood has that can help the human race. Something so simple yet so neglected.

There were almost 4 million births in the USA in 2017. Imagine what diseases could be easily cured and the quality of life that could be obtained if even half of those moms donated their child's cord blood. So, moms of America, donate your cord blood! Encourage your pregnant friends to donate at birth and if you work in a hospital ask them to take the lead in making it easier for moms to donate. Educate the masses and we can reverse the tide on some of these health maladies.
