Need A Good Movie Recommendation?

Have you ever sat through a movie and at the end of it thought, "Can't get back those two hours."? Well, this weekend my family and I went to see a good family movie that is worth your time. In fact, at the end of the movie, everyone in the audience clapped.

We went to see Camp Hideout. An adventurous movie about kids at camp but with a twist. One of my children came back from a camp retreat recently so it seemed apropros for us to watch this movie. 


Christopher Lloyd, aka Doc from the Back to the Future series, is one of the central figures in the movie. He played a very imposing character at the camp with a ferocious sidekick. 

Kids of all ages will appreciate Camp Hideout as there are younger campers and older campers. This movie's main character, Noah, plays a kid who is in trouble and his last chance to redeem himself is by going to this camp. Little did Noah know, his wayward ways were going to catch up to him here. The antics amp up when this kids camp turns into a Home Alone type riotous act. 

There are lessons about team work, acceptance, how appearances can be deceiving, friendship, and more. This is a good story with some points to ponder for family discussion. We give Camp Hideout three angel wings out of four.
