The Mission, The Vision

Let me introduce you to our big vision. We here at Where Is Your Angel?™ are humbled to have our kids books and products bring hope to those facing seemingly hopeless situations and provide tender, meaningful moments for families as well. Angels inspire, give hope, and last for a lifetime.

Our message is simple: making it more meaningful. Whether it is a holiday, sickness, disappointment, ordinary day or a celebration; angels make everything more meaningful. Our goal and purpose is to bring more meaning to people's lives and we are doing that around the world.

One of the things our kids angel book series teaches about is identity. Not physical identity but a moral identity. Kids are learning what matters most is being known as “honorable,” “honest one,” “greatly loved,” and more. Kids are learning how to forgive one another and be kind. (A lesson adults can learn too! Have you driven down the road lately??)

The feedback from you, our customers, has been overwhelming! Our angels have given “hugs” to kids who face insurmountable loss. They have met kids in their darkest moments with comfort and love like the warm embrace of embers on a cold dreary night. Some of the stories that warm our hearts and bring tears to our eyes include girls who lost their father in a fire. Shortly after the fire that took their dad's life, the girls were read the first book by a neighbor and were introduced to the angel. They were just hugging it and crying, getting comfort for their loss. Another story is of an autistic teenage girl whose grandmother wanted desperately to connect with her via a meaningful gift. The grandmother bought this book. Showed the girl the story and the angel. The autistic girl gave the angel the green light and said the angel could stay. Mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and friends are loving and buying these books with the accompanying angels.

This movement is changing and enhancing people's lives. We get pictures from kids hugging and holding their angels, to Moms telling us how it has impacted their home so much they are telling their MOPS groups about this. We have schools and festivals who ask us to come and share the angel stories. We bring the angel. The kids sit, listen, and love it. We have activities for the kids to do – all on our website and free of charge. No one has to buy the book to get the downloadable activities.

Our mission is simple: make it meaningful. That is the filter we use in whatever we put out, whatever we say, how we present ourselves, and what we do. Is this going to make it more meaningful for the kids, the families, the adults, the teachers, and the public?
