Think, learn, succeed, these are all things we want to do, right? Ask anyone on the street, "Hey, if you had the choice to think, learn, and succeed or have mush for brains, be a dummy, and fail; which would you choose?" Most probably all of them would say the former. Think, Learn, Succeed is the title of a new book by Dr. Caroline Leaf that I recently started reading. The subtitle reads "Understanding and Using Your Mind to Thrive at School, the Workplace, and Life."
Dr. Caroline Leaf is one of my favorite authors. One reason she is a favorite is not only because her material is that good but also because her material is multi-sensory. She has the books you can hold in your hand and read. She has books on audio and ebook format. She has a tv show on TBN. She has tons of video on You Tube and elsewhere you can watch and learn from. She has speaking engagements so she can be seen live and in person. And she has an online community for her 21-day brain detox. She also has a workbook for the Switch On Your Brain book and dvd for her new book. So many avenues to be enriched, learn, and grow from.
In the Prologue and Introduction alone of her newest book there was so much research and insight I thought it was already the first chapter! When I turned the page and saw, "Section One The Mindset Guide" I turned back to see what it was that I had just read that had so many nuggets. No neurological stone is unturned in her books and she is not shy about bucking her colleagues or the medical field when they prescribe meds as a quick fix. Read all about it and why it is detrimental to you, your family, and society as a whole. Very insightful. Very informative. Very much worthy of your time.
