The day you bring your angel home with you is called "Homecoming Day!" What makes this day special and why it's called that has a few meanings.
When a family adopts a child and that child becomes part of their family usually the day of the legal adoption is called (among other things), Homecoming Day. Around here we see each angel that goes into someone's home as becoming part of their family - part of their forever family. Angels are universally believed by all - young and old alike. So when an angel gets "adopted" into a family it is kind of permanent. Something that will last a lifetime. Homecoming Day also is a special day where families can name their angel. Or if you have the first book, your angel names YOU. When you name something, whether a cat or dog or a child, it becomes yours. You take on an ownership role and you become more attached to it. I'm not sure if you ever heard an adult joke about a stray, "Oh no, she named it. Now it's not going anywhere!" Similar concept with giving a name on Homecoming Day! Along with Homecoming Day! we say that is when your angel's mission starts. In the Christian faith, when someone asks Jesus to come and live in their heart something supernatural occurs. Their Christian walk starts - no matter how old they are. In a similar comparison, when your angel comes into your home and you name it, you start living differently with a divine focus. Even if you just purchase it for play. It's divine play! Welcome YOUR angel home. Homecoming Day! is simply divine! #angel #homecomingday #youhaveaname #start #books #kidsbooks #divine #own #adopt #whereisyourangel #angelwatchingoverme #shelf
